Department of Economics

Department of Economics offers foundation courses for undergraduate and post-graduate students from different fields of study in Faculty of Economics, Nong Lam University. Some selected courses include introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics, basic econometrics, applied econometrics, business statistics, principles of economic statistics, quantitative analysis, development economics, public economics, mathematical foundation for economics, etc.

We are proudly run by a highly qualified and dedicated team of lecturers and researchers. Using updated textbooks, readings and effective teaching methods, we are confident to provide students with solid basic knowledge of economics-related courses.Additionally, our lecturers and researchers are alwaysactive and show a great interest in doing collaborative research in agricultural economics, development economics, behavioural economics, environmental and resource economics as well as other development issues.
