Introduction

The Department of Business Administration, under the Faculty of Economics, Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City, was established in 2001. As of today, the Department manages four undergraduate programs: General Business Administration, Financial Management, Commercial Management, and High-Quality Business Administration.

With a team of 17 lecturers, including 4 Ph.D. holders and 13 Master’s degree holders, most of whom were trained abroad in countries such as Australia, the United States, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Thailand, the Department takes pride in its qualified and diverse academic staff. The teaching programs are regularly updated and innovated to meet the evolving economic conditions of the country.

Along with the development of the University, the Department of Business Administration – Faculty of Economics – has been gradually affirming its important role in training high-quality human resources with solid economic knowledge and practical skills applicable to business and production activities in organizations and enterprises, thereby contributing to the overall economic development of the nation.

The Department’s research orientations cover a wide range of fields, including business and enterprise development, labor management, international economics, finance, investment, marketing research, supply chain management, and other related areas. The Department’s lecturers have been actively involved in scientific research activities, with numerous publications in domestic and international journals, including those indexed in ISI/Scopus.
